We hired CPR Construction for our kitchen and family room renovation which included updated wiring and electrical panel and subpanel. We cannot say enough good things about Chris. His price was fair. He was conscientious, thorough, attentive, responsive, actively engaged, and incredibly detail oriented. His trades crews were very good and Chris worked alongside them on many occasions. He delivered as promised. There were some unexpected problems with our older house (and new cabinets), but Chris explained our options and worked with us to find solutions. He is very easy to work with. He took time to explain everything in detail. His contract was thorough and fair. I would not hesitate to recommend him and hope to engage him again for other projects.

I had never done any major remodeling work in the past and had been injured in a car accident just days before the start of my projects so was unsure of how it would all go. Chris and his team removed popcorn ceilings did a full interior paint job did a full master bath remodel, a minor remodel of two other bathrooms, replaced light fixtures and ceiling fans, replaced carpet and did some exterior painting. My experience was top-notch. Chris has amazing attention to detail, is quick to respond to all inquiries, has great resources to help with selections on tile, glass, carpet, granite countertops and vanities. He offered great suggestions while being conscious of my budget and did not try to andup selland. I couldn't have been more pleased and have already recommended him to two neighbors and a coworker. My husband and I hired Chris to help us with the remodel of a home we purchased to “flip”. The job included many different areas of the home and although we have completed several flips where we did much of the work ourselves, the work involved with this one was beyond our scope. I interviewed several contractors before choosing Chris. Chris first impressed me with his quick understanding of my vision for the home and was very prompt in giving us a detailed and accurate estimate of the cost involved. Once the work began, I continued to be impressed with how quickly and smoothly things progressed. Chris and/or his crew were on the job almost every day. Chris and his crew took down walls, completely remodeled the kitchen and master bath, removed popcorn ceilings, painted the entire house inside, and replaced all the flooring. I am very detailed oriented, and sometimes hard to please, and I found Chris' standards for quality work to be equal to mine. We could not be happier with the result. The home came out beautifully and went under contract the second day on the market!

Chris removed part of a wall to open up our foyer. He was able to save our specialty dental crown molding and patch our hardwoods and refinish perfectly. The experience was great. He was always on-time, on-budget, respectful and pleasant. It was easy to have in our home. We are already planning to use him again!

Short version: Thumbs up Longer version: I've been a home owner 30+ years. After my DIY era, I'd hire a handyman/tradesman/journeyman to handle jobs I just didn't want to handle. Each time I was left underwhelmed, somewhat disappointed, and after a while, regretful. This current job was a major job involving replacing siding, windows (full replacement, frames and all), all gutters, full paint job and replacing roofing over a bump-out window; so I went looking for a real pro. I was referred to Chris by a buddy at work. I contacted him and soon found him to be the pro I was looking for. He brought to bear superior technical construction and project management skills; an ability to adjust to an indecisive homeowner who frequently added to the scope of the job; a cheerful, can-do attitude and a capacity to assuage the anxieties of said homeowner. The site was spotless when they left and my neighbors are thrilled, as am I, with the new look. Chris is a guy who is building a premium business/reputation by doing premium business. I'm happy to talk with anyone looking for references.

We worked with CPR Construction on a major 2,700 square-foot build-out of our basement and attic, including a kitchen with fireplace, two “bonus” rooms, two full baths, a bedroom and a theater. Many circumstances caused us to delay the project on several occasions over a 2+ year period. Chris stuck with us and was there each step of the way…being patient and giving us an early heads-up if the delay might cause a change in cost (and quite often, if not). We requested many changes, and he was good to stay on top of all of the paperwork involved – always keeping us apprised. Chris also helped us with several interim ‘upkeep' projects during the life of the bigger project – as a ‘go-to' resource to jump in and guide us when needed. He was always there, responding quickly, and seeing this large, challenging and long project through to completion. We are thrilled with the end product and the value it has added to our home. Our project was unconventional and complex, involving an unpermitted finished basement completed by a prior homeowner. It was a journey with many twists and turns including structural, electrical, plumbing and other various issues. Chris took our basement down to the studs, moved our kitchen and re-finished the basement, bringing it up to current codes. His knowledge of building codes and a good working relationship with the Town of Cary were essential for the success of this project.

I contacted Chris to see if he had time to make some repairs to the siding of my house due to Hurricane Matthew. He responded to my inquiry within hours and came over the next day to see what needed to be done. A date was set, the repairs have been made and Iandm so happy with everything. I will be calling Chris again for further repairs in the spring. I highly recommend him.

We hired Chris to renovate our sunroom, with new drywall, trim, and painting for the walls and ceilings, a new hardwood floor, and french doors. Chris did exceptional work, and he was communicative and helpful through the entire process. The work was also done very quickly at a competitive price, with very little disruption to the rest of the house. All in all, a fantastic job.

Everything is great with the ramp so far. My dad is already here and has been able to navigate up and down the ramp with a walker with no problem. My mom will be here next week. Chris did a great job on our master bath renovation. He is very professional and the results are absolutely beautiful!

I needed Chris to inspect a wood girder in our crawl space that was affected by a water leak to determine if repairs were needed before selling our house. Chris was able to adjust his schedule and make time to perform the inspection the same day I called him. His quick response and professional inspection allowed us to move forward with selling our house without delay. I would recommend Chris without hesitation to anyone needing a general contractor.

I hired Chris to complete a partial bathroom remodel and to handle several odd jobs around the house. The results were simply outstanding! We are very happy with the work Chris did to manage the renovation of our downstairs bath. We knew Chris would do a good job based on his extensive prior work for us, and he did not disappoint! In this project Chris expanded the shower, installed new lights and an exhaust fan, and tiled the floor, shower, and sink back splash. Chris and his crew also installed a new sink for us and replaced the ceiling when we could not scrape off the popcorn. We were very happy with everyone who worked on our project and the results are stunning, modern, and so much more functional.
