This contemporary home said goodbye to it's old plain standard screened porch and said hello to a masterpiece.
Notice the inverted ceiling (low beam in center) so that the outer sloped ceiling is as high as possible to maximize the woods view.
Here is an exterior view of the original structure that was completely removed to make space.

The ceiling is made of smooth pine tongue and groove boards stained clear. The wood burning fireplace is trimmed using Kumaru wood reclaimed from the ceiling of the original porch.
