Congratulate yourself! If you've found Chris Raneri and CPR Construction, then you've also found “one–stop shopping” for just about all of your home improvement and repair needs. And if your past has been filled with contractor “troubles,” you can kiss those troubles goodbye. We've already used Chris for a variety of projects around our home, and expect to do more business with him in the future. Chris himself is a first–class craftsman who does quality work. But if your project involves some things that Chris himself doesn't do, then he also has an excellent lineup of subcontractors. In discussing a project before it begins, Chris will explain how he thinks the project should be handled, and why, and what your materials and pricing choices may be. You will not be “left guessing.” But he's also open to your suggestions and to alternative ways of doing the job or adjusting its final appearance to your liking. And if you are a female person, or if your sweetheart is a female person, rest assured that Chris will never “talk down” to you (or her), as if somehow a woman “just wouldn't understand” the details of a home improvement project. When Chris makes an appointment with you, he will be there when he promises, or call you if he's delayed. How refreshing (pinch us!), compared to other contractors who leave the customer to sit there “waiting and wondering.” How fine to meet a home improvements contractor who considers your convenience and schedule at least as important as his own. Chris takes a hands–on management interest in every job. If he's not doing the work with his own hands, then he'll be checking regularly on the work of the subcontractor. And if by chance anything is “not quite right,” he will make it right. You will be satisfied at the end of the project. Finally, in our experience, Chris's job pricing is fully competitive with what we've encountered elsewhere, especially in view of the quality of workmanship and the fact that all of our projects have ended happily since we began using CPR Construction. The door and repair work look great!

We hired CPR after consultation with several prospective contractors to update our master bathroom. Chris was customer focused throughout the process – met with us several times before the project was awarded to consult on the work to be done often providing some thoughtful recommendations that we hadn't considered. His proposal was extremely thorough and complete so it was clear to both parties what was to be done. Later adjustments to the work were clearly communicated in writing. Chris provided us with a list of recommended suppliers for plumbing, tile, granite and shower glass that were a pleasure to work with, as were the subcontractors he hired. We were kept informed of the process and what work would be done each week. We are now enjoying our new “Spa-like” bathroom and highly recommend CPR Construction.

We had CPR come back for another project. This time to overhaul our master bath and second floor wet bar. We are very please we used them again. A very positive experience for us. A reliable team. We love our new spaces! glad we used them again.

Chris, Every thing looks good. I liked your professionalism and the customer focused approach working with me. I liked that you spent time explaining the repairs of what needed to be done when first assessing the job and then I liked that you took the time to explain what you actually did. I think your price was fair and competitive. I like doing business with people that give schedules and then meet them. You did that. You left the job clean and organized when you left. All in all I would recommend you to others and I would certainly use you again. Job well done!

My experience with Chris has been unusual. My husband and I admire him and his work ethic even though heands never built anything for us. I worked with Chris for more than a year trying to design a screened porch that would work for our unusual house. After many email exchanges, consultations with Chris standing on our deck discussing a variety of approaches, we decided not to do it. The pitch of the porch roof and a number of other factors made the project unfeasible. We appreciated Chrisand honesty and willingness to give us the bad news even though it meant he wouldnandt get the job. He always returned every phone call, every email, and came to our house several times. I would love to work with him on any future project we may have.

Yes, we are happy! You did a great job on EVERYTHING. We love the new can lights and the fact that you installed them without damaging the ceiling with extra holes (and feared paint job)! You are very easy to work with – we loved the “can do” / positive attitude you have. We love it when you give “good news then there is good news” to explain things to us! We have recommended you in the past and will continue to recommend you! I just wish there were something else on our list you wanted to do! Ah, yes, there is always the future front door replacement!

This was my first project with CPRC. I inquired about a few boards on the house that needed replaced and I chose to expand it to also include replacing 25 year old screens on our porch, painting the new wood and sealing the deck. Chris worked on an estimate and suggested replacing some original external wood surrounding the screens which I agreed to. I was looking for a turnkey project and Chris was great with that. He coordinated removal of our lengthy LeafGuard gutters and was able to start the project earlier than his projection and within a week of our initial conversation. His estimate was very solid and a few additions I requested after the estimate were added and very reasonably priced. Chris worked with another person on the project and they were very skilled, dedicated and professional. He was excellent in communicating expectations and did a great job of meeting or beating all of them. At the end of each day, he left things cleaned up and organized. My impression throughout was that they worked well together, enjoyed their work, did excellent work that they took pride in and genuinely wanted to please. I would welcome the chance to work with them again.
