Basements with bathrooms are mostly for play areas and on this project the client wanted a large open space. We removed a bearing wall, installed larger footings and raised a steel beam to provide needed support.
Here the beam if fully wrapped and finished off. We needed the length of the steel beam to run our duct lines along it to reach the air spaces...
